Unboxing: Memebox special #43 K-style 3

#43 K-Style 3
To be very  honest, I wouldn't have gotten this box if it didn't come in a bundle with free express upgrade.  But because I worked up a deal and pretty much got one box for free, I don't feel so bad.  And turns out that OMG 3 was the worst box out of the trio.  Kind of upset about OMG since I had high hopes for it, but this box does make up for it.  I usually stay away from the make up boxes, but this box actually turned out to be pretty good! I'm surprised.

$23.00 + shipping

Coupons will be at the end of the blog post, so please make sure to use it and get yourself some $5 off! Save that money :D.
I wonder what is inside :O.  Ohhh la la!
The usually information card with product description and how to use.  Don't worry, I type it out for you so you don't have to squint!

This box looks pretty good :D.
 Looking good so far.

First product is Secret Kiss face fit strobe cream (I thought it said secret key, but I think I'm blind.  Sorry for the blurry picture, I didn't notice the picture was blurry until I went to edit it but its too late now) retailing for $11 and contains 30 mL.  The plastic tube measures 2 cm x 12 cm, smell-o-scale=5/10, smells like regular korean skincare floral.

When I first saw the spoilers for this box, I thought it really wasn't anything interesting.  But this product is pretty much the same thing as the MAC strobe cream.  I mean it says in the name too!  I wonder if it does compare to Mac's strobe cream.  I do like that this is relatively cheap for how much product it comes with, 30 mL for $11. Mac's strobe cream is $33 for 50 mL.  Let's do some math!

Secret kiss $11/ 30 mL=  $0.36/ mL
MAC $33/ 50 mL= $0.66/ mL

So the Secret kiss one does turn out to be the cheaper version, and I have to say it is the exact same product.  The texture, finish, how it soaks into the skin.  It is all the same.  So if you can find this product, I'd really recommend it.  I do like the subtle glow it gives the skin, and it acts as a moisturizer too!  Not bad.

*I'm doing my overall feel and doing the website links for you guys, and this is from secret key!  I'm guessing it is secret key's make up line called the secret kiss.  So I was right that it is secret key haha.*

Product description:
This moisturizing makeup base/ starter smooths out skin texture and creates an ultra-natural radiance. Made from 6 kinds of gemstones powders and various floral extracts, it works to instantly correct a range of complexion concerns including dehydration, dullness, sallowness, and redness.  Prefect for wearing with a foundation or applying after makeup as a highlighter and recommended for all skin types, the lightweight, oil-free cream moisturizes and replenishes, leaving the skin, dewy, fresh and flawless.

How to use:
Mix foundation or BB cream with the Strobe cream in a 2:1 ratio.  After base make up, apply a small amount of the strobe cream or over T-zone, cheekbones, and chin for highlighting the 3D volume of your face.
Here is a swatch of the Secret kiss face fit strobe cream.  The photo doesn't look like much, but in person there is a slight light pink sheen once blended into the skin.
You can not see much but again, in person, there is a very faint light pink sheen left on the skin.
Now, let's compare the MAC strobe cream to secret kiss's.  Packaging wise, I did buy the travel size of the strobe cream, which is a lot cheaper by the way ($18/ 30 mL compared to $33/ 50 mL) so the packaging is different.  The full size comes with a thicker tube container with a twist off black lid.
Mac strobe cream on the left, Secret kiss on the right.
If I were not to tell you which is which, you really wouldn't be able to tell the difference.  It is the exact same product.  I recommend everyone who can get their hands on this, get the Secret kiss one instead of MAC.
The second product is Vella Flower flower BB retailing for $26 and contains 15 mL.  This is a full sized product and measures 1.6 cm x 11 cm.  No scent is detected.

I love me some BB cream and have plenty to go through in a lifetime.  So I was slightly underwhelmed to get another BB cream, but this one is quite different.  It does not have the gray undertone like most BB creams come in, it has a very yellow undertone skintone shade without making my face like a plastic doll who got her face pasted on someone else's neck since my neck got a different shade then my face.  And the pigmentation of this BB cream is crazy, this makes me thing that this is more of a foundation then a BB cream.  I'm quite excited to try this on my face :D.

Product description:
Vella's flower flower BB cream works to moisturize and smooth and dehydrated skin, prime and perfect skin texture, camouflage and color correct skin tone, and finally to protect skin from the sun with an SPF30 PA++.  Its silky, light formula is moisturizing without creating excess oil and minimizes the appearance of pores without clogging them up.

How to use:
Take a dime-sized amount of the BB cream and apply it evenly over your face.  Pat it over witih your fingers for full adherence.  It's especially recommended to be used with the face fit strobe cream to create that perfectly dewy complexion.
Here's a swatch.
See what I mean when I say it doesn't have that grey undertone?  Very nice :D. It fits my NC25 skintone very very nicely.
Rubs right into the skin and it has a slightly satin finish.  Not really dewy, but not really matte.
The third product is Tony moly 7 days tattoo eyebrow 02 Dark brown retailing for $8 and contains 0.8 mL.  This is a full sized product and measures 0.7 cm x 11.5 cm.  Smell-o-scale=5/10 and it smells kind of like paint?  Not stinky paint, you really have to stick it close to your nose to smell it, so it isn't that big of a deal.

I have seen a product like this on Get it beauty, and it sounds like a really cool product, but I have never thought to buy it.  So I'm super surprised we got this and quite excited to test this out to see if it really does last one week :D.  I might even pass this onto my mom since I do have quite full brows and she is into brow products and have to draw in her brows every morning.

Product description:
Tony Moly 7 day tattoo eyebrow may remind you of a regular liquid eyeliner from its visual, but in fact it's a brush-type eyebrow pen that tattoos onto your brows for a pair of perfectly groomed brows that lasts up to 7 days without having to re-draw them every morning!

How to use:
1-2 hours before bedtime, paint and fill in between your brows to make sure you have a perfect pair of arches.  When the color starts to fade a little after 3-4 days, simply give it a retouch.

The tip is very fine and is actually a brush and not a sponge tip which is awesome since it does apply the product evenly.  Very nice :).
Here is a swatch of the eyebrow tattoo.  A very nice color, not too dark, but not too light or ashy.  It is a Cacao chocolate brown color.
The fourth product is Style Y soft fit mix and match pencil and powder shadow retailing for $9 and contains 0.5 g.  This was randomly selected from 02 brown liner and peach tip or 03 deep choco liner and gold tip.  I got the color 02 and I love it!  It measures 1 cm x 13.5 cm.  This is a full sized product and no smell detected.

I'm glad I got the peach shade because I would definitely use it on a daily basis.  It is a very natural peach shade with gold sheen, and against the brown eyeliner, it is perfect.  This is the best combo ever~~

Product description:
The soft fit mix and match pencil and powder shadow's dual ends- a liner on one end and a stick shadow on the other- can be used together to compliment each other, creating a whole new spectrum of mix and match eye make up looks.  Plus, it's non-smudging and smoothly applying- easy enough to be used by even make up beginners.

How to use:
First apply the stick shadow over your eyelids and then draw in the eyeliner.  To create the signature Korean look, highlight the aegyosal (rounded skin just under the eye) with the shadow tip.
I love dual products :D.
How this works is one side has a pressed eyeshadow that is pressed into the lid of the shadow side, and eyeliner is a twist up liner so no need to sharpen.
Close up of the liner side.  So pretty :D.
Close up of the sponge tip with the shadow on it.
That is the shadow at the end of the lid.  Cool!
The color of the shadow really reminds me of NARS orgasm but slightly more of a peacher pink.  Sadly these do not really last very long like the Makeon eyeliners which does not smudge or budge.  I will have to keep playing with these to see how I can make it work.
The fifth product is Style Y color fit creamy lip and cheek retailing for $13 and contains 5 mL.  This is a full sized product and measures 2 cm x 8.5 cm.  This was randomly selected from 02 smoothie pink or 03 raspberry.  I got 03 raspberry.

I will not be opening this product because I will definitely not be using this.  I rarely have the patience to put on make up everyday, let allow use some lip gloss.  Not saying that this color isn't pretty, it is!  But I know it will just get lost in my collection, so I might as well pass it on to someone that will love it.

Product description:
Highlight lips and cheeks with the multitasking cream color that gives cheeks and lips and healthy, natural-looking flush.  Style Y's whipped mouse highlights lips and cheeks with a sheer, soft matte finish.

How to use:
For a lip make up , spread the creamy lip and cheek evenly over upper and lower lips.  For a cheek stain, take a small amount and softly blend it in with your fingers.
The last product is Color world jewellish stick shadow retailing for $13.  This is a full sized product and was randomly selected from 05 twinkle green, 07 starship violet.  I got the color the color 05 twinkle green.  This stick measures 1 cm x 10 cm.  No scent detected.

Once upon a time, I loved color.  But that was when I was 16 years old and was secretly playing with make up and learning from Youtube.  My parents weren't happy to see their daughters having tons of make up, so I was never able to wear it out the door.  I sometimes wore some neutral eyeshadow and they were fine with it, but that was about it.  But I would secretly be in my room making crazy looks with vibrant colors.  Times have changed and I now love neutrals, just like every other girl out there.  But this is subtle enough that I could wear it somehow.  Again, I will have to play with this some more.  I do like the packaging as it is some type of metal and is not plastic.

Product description:
Color world's jewelish stick shadow features bbeautiful shades with a creamy formula to provide endless spectrum for a flawless bold eye make up.  Each convenient stick is long-wearing, transfer-proof, and crease resistant.  The color glides smoothly onto lids and blends easily for a rich pigmented payoff.

How to use:
Apply directly to eyelids and blend it in for a desired intensity.

You do get quite a bit of product in the stubby stick.
Very pretty color.  I'd say I would try and top this off a black eye shadow,  that would look gorgeous!  The color is very true to the name, a jade emerald color.  I quite like it actually :).  Welcome to the family.

I'm surprised that I actually end up liking this box :D.  I usually stay far far away from make up boxes since they are not my taste, and after my very first box, which is the Make up edition box, I really solidified my opinion to stay away from make up box.  But this box is perfect.  I love the strobe cream, and it really is the same thing as the MAC one, the BB cream is awesome, eyeshadow/ liner stick is promising, the green cream shadow is super pretty and I'm super duper excited for the Tony moly tattoo eyebrow.  Not so much the lip gloss, but it is not their fault.  Overall, I'd give this box a 4.75/5 stars.  I recommend this box to anyone if it ever restocks :).
