Unboxing: Memebox special #11 cacao

Guess what came through the door an hour ago.  Sorry I know, it takes a bit longer for me to post since I have to take pictures and brighten up the pictures.  If you want to know the latest news with my memeboxes, make sure to follow me on Facebook.  I add photos first on Facebook since I only have to post one picture ;).  So follow me if you want the latest news and let's get started!

If you want to check out the box, here is the link. They might restock in the future so it is worth checking out once and a while.

Cacao memebox
$23.00 + shipping

Make sure you follow me on facebook (link is just on sidebar) and instagram at christinahello to see the latest news about my unboxings, memebox news and other randomness!
I am loving the new look with the box!  They should do this more often.  Different colored boxes are useful when I go to reuse them for storage :).

Here's the sneak peek ;), I know you want to know whats in there.

Here's a closer look, don't peek now! Details are down below.
The raw look, look at all the goodies!
The first time that I can smell was the chocolate.  No joke, this box smelled like a box of edible chocolate.  I'm going to have a hard time not licking my face when I use these products.
Haha the bottom of the box on the inside.
 Mug shot line up :).

The lightening on these cards aren't happening eh! I thought it would be better if I took the picture on the floor :/.  Sorry guys...

The first product is Etude house milk talk retailing for $7 and contains 200 mL.  The bottle 5.5 cm in diameter and 12 cm in height.

I don't know why but in pictures, the bottle looks so much bigger!  I'm going to keep this sealed since I have tons and tons of body washes I have to get through but I'm guessing this smells like.... iunno, I'll take a wild guess and say it smells like chocolate HAHA.

Product description:
"This adorably packaged body wash is one of Etude House's favorites among its fans for the heavenly sweet, chocolately fragrance!  Plus, it can be used as both a body wash and a bath milk- simply pour it in for a hot and bubbly chocolate bath."

How to use:
Lather the body wash with a shower towel or a sponge and gently massage onto your body.  For taking a bath, pour in about 15 mL of the body wash into a tub of warm water and jump in when it starts to bubble up.

Etude house actually has these really cute sponges which you can put on top on your bottle! What a cute design :D.
The second product is the spoiler that they showed us right before they shipped it.  It is WondeRuci Cacao Brightening mask retailing for $38 and contains 100 g.  The jar is 5.5 cm in diameter and 7 cm in height.

Product description:
"Enjoy a luxurious aroma massage effect with this Cacao brightening mask right in your home!  The real cacao components from the mask cleanses away all dirt and impurities piled up in your pores and the various minerals included work to moisturize and brighten up your complexion.  (The mask texture also looks, feels and smells exactly like real chocolate so be careful not to eat it!)"

How to use:
After toner application, spread the cacao mask evenly over your face, making sure to avoid the eye and lip areas.  Rest for 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.
The jar is glass and it is super duper heavy! But then again, no one is going to be travelling around with this (I hope :S).  It's so heavy I can work out with it and get buff biceps! UGH!
Comes with a sanitary lid which I usually just throw away because it bugs me if I use it often.

Scent wise, I'd give this a 8/10.  It smells exactly like chocolate pudding, just straight up chocolate pudding and nothing else.
Does it not look like straight up chocolate pudding! It smells exactly like chocolate pudding!  Make sure not to put this in your fridge or your husband, boyfriend or family member will accidentally eat it.  But hey, they'd have glowing skin at least HAHA.
This reminds me of the sheet mask I got in my milk box! Well it is the same thing but just chocolate.  This is Pure smile essence mask chocolate milk retailing for $1 each and contains 23 mL.

Product description:
"Replenish your complexion into a baby-face with this chocolate milk mask rich in milk protein nutrients, cacao extracts, vitamin E, and collagen which all work to hydrate and smooth out uneven skin texture."

How to use:
After cleansing your face, place the mask sheet on.  Rest for 15-20 minutes after removal.  Gently pat in the remaining essence into your skin.
Again I have nothing much to say but I'm excited to try another sheet mask. I'm slightly getting scared that memebox is reusing the same things but different versions. I hope they don't do that and keep bringing us new brands and new products.
The fourth product is Evas vitamin cleansing dessert magic cream soap coconut and cacao retailing for $18 and contains 130 g.  This is a full size product.

Product description:
"While some cleansers with larger foam particles, excess vibration or friction can irritate the skin, this coconut and cacao-infused cream soap works gently yet thoroughly with micro foam particles that reach deeply into your pores, leaving your face refreshing clean and smooth."

How to use:
Wash your hands clean first and lather the cream soap on your hands.  Massage the foams onto your face from the inner towards the outer contours of the face.  Then use your fingers to gently roll the foams.  Rinse off with water and pat dry.

Can I just start off saying the box that comes with it is so darn cute! Its like a little shop!  other then the cacao version, there is a berry mix, lemon and red wine. Ohhh~
The soap itself is really thick, just like butter. Scent wise, I don't like it.  it slightly has a dirty smell to me,   I think it is the coconut.  The cacao scent is 40% and the coconut is 60% overpowering everything.  I'd give this a 8/10 for how strong the fragrance is.
Its got a plastic pop up lid.  I don't know why but it reminds me of a port-a-potty HAHA.
This is another repeat product :(.  Can't say I'm super happy about it but I'm not super upset either.  Pure smile choosy lip scrub chocolate retailing for $11 and contains 25 g each.  The jar is 5 cm in diameter and 2 cm in height.

Product description:
"This gentle choosy lip scrub is packed with all sorts of natural goodies- sugar, cacao extracts, bees wax, shea butter, jojoba oil, macadamia oil- for removing dead skins, deeply nourishing, and adding an extra luster to your dry, chapped lips."

How to use:
Gently roll the lip scrub on your dry lips.  After massaging, remove the dead skins off with a warm towel or tissue.  Apply a nourishing lip treatment to soothe and moisturize your lips.
Omg has anyone noticed the back of the bag! You can apply the scrub to your nipples! HAHA I'm so trying it.  You can count on it.
The jar is the same thing as the one I got from milk with the plastic top and bottom, a plastic lid inside for sanitary purposes.

I have been trying out the other choosy lip scrub but so far, I don't even find it to be a scrub.  I use it as a lip balm since the sugar isn't even there.  None.  I find no sugar particles to do its job.

Fragrance wise, this smells like....well chocolate.  See the trend here? I'd give it a 4/10 for potent-ness of the product.  It isn't very strong which is nice, I won't get a headache :D.
The last product is Purederm Nose pore 6 strips choco caocao retailing for $6 and contains 6 strips.

Product description:
"This nose pore strips choco cacao is a one-step pore care treatment specifically designed to unclog excess blackheads, whiteheads, dirt and oil piled up in your pores.  You'll feel a dramatic difference after just one use."

How to use:
Thoroughly wet your nose with water first, because the strip may not stick if nose is too dry.  Apply the strip to moistened nose area with the shiny side facing your skin.  Press down and smooth out any air bubbles.  Let the strip dry for 10-15 minutes.  Then, slowly and carefully peel off the strip starting from the edges.  Rinse off any residues with water.
They had the exact same nose pore strip in the aloe vera superbox (which I didn't purchase but I stalk other people's unboxing on instagram and the web).  I wonder if this one smells like chocolate or it just has chocolate components.  Honestly I dread using nose strips since it is so painful for me to peel off and it doesn't really take out my blackheads.  So I go through all that pain for nothing.  I'd rather manually do it with my metal blackhead pushing stick.

*Prices in purple are prices I found through official site  or popular online stores*

1) Etude house milk talk $7 ($5.85 USD)
2) WondeRuci cacao brightening mask $38 ($31.22 USD/ 32,000 Won)
4) Evas vitamin cleansing dessert magic cream soap $18 ($14.54 USD/ 14,900 Won)
5) Pure smile choosy lip scrub $11 ($10 USD)
6) Purederm nose pore strips $6 (??)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total: $81 on the info card
Total: $68.61 in reality

This box overall, I have to be honest and say that I'm slightly disappointed.  There are two repeating product which I have already gotten in a different scent.  I guess in my mind I hyped it up a little to much since it was such an interesting product.  I felt as though they took the easy way out with the selection with the products they put in the box.  I am excited to try the WondeRuci cacao brightening mask, hopefully my dogs won't be chasing me down to lick my face haha.  That is pretty much the only spotlight product in the box sadly.  I'd give this box a 2/5 stars.  This is only my first impression and could change as I use it in the future.

Make sure to check out Julie's video unboxing and her opinion on this box!
